Joseph Mazurkiewicz is a founding partner and former director of Adams & Partners Lawyers who first started working with Peter Adams in 1998. Prior to joining Adams & Partners, he was a partner with two other regional law firms based in Penrith and Campbelltown.
In September 2017, Joseph stepped down as a director of Adams & Partners Lawyers. He still works with Adams & Partners Lawyers as a consultant.
Over the years Joe has worked across a variety of practice areas and has developed a unique perspective on the law that originated during his time spent working with the Attorney Generals Department.
At the Department, Joe held the positions of Clerk, Registrar and Coroner – gaining experience and industry knowledge that is rare for a legal practitioner. He also worked as a solicitor with the Legal Aid Commission, so is used to dealing with a broad cross-range of people and cases. His experience includes acting as a visiting Justice for the Department of Corrective Services and a mental health institution.
Joe can relate to people of all ages and backgrounds and understands the issues and problems they are facing. His Court experience has given him a sound understanding of the solutions available to clients, whether commercial or personal, as well as the application of the law to their situation. Personally, Joe gains considerable satisfaction from helping clients in their time of need and achieving the best possible result in their matter. He is determined, tenacious and committed to helping his client, whatever the situation.
